Health Interventions

‘Health is wealth’, and it is practically impossible to raise successful families where there is no good health and healthcare for the people. As such, FEYReP seeks to address the health needs of members of Akwa Ibom communities through periodic medical outreaches. Though medical care can be expensive for the indigent, the benefit of timely Intervention cannot be underestimated. FEYReP therefore collaborates with other organizations to deliver free medical and specialized care to people.

The Healthcare interventions rolled out by FEYReP over the years include but are not limited to; 

Free Surgical Care

Through its many years of existence FEYReP has in partnership with various international organizations carried out several life changing free surgical outreaches throughout Akwa Ibom State where the locals have received surgeries they would neither have been able to afford nor have access to. Such surgeries include but are not limited to surgeries for hernia, fibroids, lipomas, myomectomy, goitre, and various other ailments

Deworming of Children

Over the course of eight years, the FEYReP has been steadfast in its commitment to deworming the children of Akwa Ibom state, exemplifying an enduring dedication to the health and well-being of the younger generation,

Free Eye Care Services

From time to time, FEYReP rolls out free eyecare services ranging from eye tests to critical surgeries for major eye defect corrections.

Martha’s Pregnacare

Martha’s Pregnacare is a comprehensive program put forward by FEYReP with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle among pregnant women. The program also focuses on raising awareness about harmful traditional practices during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.
