Markets in the rural communities lack modern infrastructural facilities like conveniences, hygienic and secured environment. As a result, businesses are conducted under very harsh conditions. Therefore, the remodelling of rural markets by FEYReP is intended towards providing a hygienic, safe and better business environment for Akwa Ibom people. With the injection of these modern facilities, it is expected that this will increase the chances of productivity and enhance commerce within these communities.
Urua Obo Annang in Essien Udim L.G.A with a capacity of 120 open shades, toilet facility and a borehole.
Urua Anwa, an Ultra mordern market in Oruk Anam LGA with 200 open shade, 50 lock-up shops. Toilet Facilities, abattoir, a borehole, clinic and a Police Station.
Urua Edere Obo in Onna LGA has 202 open shades with borehole and toilet facilities.
Urua Obo Awa in Onna LGA has 50 lock-up shops with 100 open shades with borehole and toilet facility.
