Donation of Medical Equipment To Hospital

Health facilities in developing countries often struggle to meet the demands of a high burden of illness in their communities. Some of these facilities conspicuously lack equipment and consumables. It is therefore not surprising when there is a record of abysmal results in health delivery. FEYReP’s periodic donations of medical equipment and consumables, especially to healthcare facilities in rural communities is in response to the need to improve healthcare services and delivery in our locality.

The goal is to support health facilities and make access to healthcare services worth the while for people in the rural and semi-urban communities. Thus FEYReP has so far made a donation of equipment and consumables to hospitals across the state. The benefiting hospitals are Health Center, Aka Ekpeme, Ikono LGA; St. Theresa Hospital, Use Abat, Ibiono LGA; Handmaid Hospital, Ikot Ambang, Ibiono LGA; Methodist Hospital, Ituk Mbang, Uruan LGA; General Hospital, Iquitta, Oron; Central School of Nursing, Ikot Ekpene; Primary Health Center, Ikot Etok Udo, Abak LGA; and Leprosy Hospital, Ekpene Obom, Etinan LGA. Also, FEYReP has ensured the building and furnishing of Primary Health Center, Obio Akpa, Oruk Anam LGA.
