Advocacies

With our vision being to empower families and restore values in our youths, FEYReP embarks on massive awareness programmes to advocate for a society where healthy moral and ethical values are upheld to help foster a safe and secure environment for our women/girls to live and thrive. To this end, FEYReP has taken a bold in advocating for the betterment of both the GIRL CHILD and the BOY CHILD and for the creation of a world where their lives will not be jeopardized by social vices and crimes of which RAPE AND VIOLENT CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS tops the list.

Girls Uphold Your Dignity Advocacy For Teenage Girls

A sensitization campaign by FEYReP targeting secondary schools in Akwa Ibom State with a focus on educating teenage girls about the dangers and consequences of premarital sex. The campaign was necessitated due to a high rate of teenage pregnancy among girls of secondary school age in our rural communities.

Bright Future For Responsible Boys

The objectives of this initiative include rescuing boys from the clutches of cultism, drug addiction and other social vices they may get exposed to, while also providing essential education on sexual orientation and the importance of financial independence.

War Against GBV

Our advocacy against rape, sexual crimes, and gender based violence include activities tailored towards driving home the NEED-TO-ACT message. These include but are not limited to activities such as

  1. Orange the World
  2. Town hall meetings with community stakeholders
  3. Awareness campaigns on electronic, print, and social media
  4. Awareness walks etc.

Climate Change

FEYReP is also committed to tackling the global challenge which climate change poses. As such FEYReP has taken up the mantle of championing tree planting causes and the promotion of eco-friendly practices to help mitigate the impact of climate change and environmental degradation on conflict affected and vulnerable communities.
