As part of our commitment to ensure maternal healthcare and child health, Family Empowerment and Youth Re-orientation Path-initiative (FEYReP) in collaboration with Vitamin Angels, an international charity organisation, flagged off a state-wide distribution of prenatal multivitamins and and deworming of children in Akwa Ibom State.
The drugs made available through FEYReP/Vitamin Angels partnership was today handed over to the state ministry of health for onward distribution to primary health centres in the 31 Local Government Areas of the state.
Speaking at the event, the founder of FEYRePÂ and wife of the state governor Her Excellency, Dr. Martha praised the partnership between FEYReP and Vitamin Angels whilst making it known that the vitamins are to be distributed freely.
The flag-off event culminated in a formal handing over of the drugs to personnel of the state ministry of health for onward distribution.
