To mark the 2024 16 Days Activism with the theme: UNITE! to END GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE, The Family Empowerment and Youth Reorientation Path Initiative (FEYReP) took her sensitisation walk to Abak Itenge to enlighten the people more on the dangers of Gender Based Violence. FEYReP also seized the moment to ask that people should speak out when such incidences occur in their communities, as that is one of the ways where citizen participation will effectively be achieved in the fight against the GBV menace.
The street walk was attended by FEYReP staff, volunteer women groups and reached out to many on the streets with flyers bearing emergency response numbers were shared.
